A program aims to empower Baltimore students by teaching the techniques of “yoga, meditation, breathwork and self-love.” The nonprofit behind it is expanding to serve students in the Akwesasne Mohawk territory along the U.S.-Canada border. One of the program’s founders tells NBC News’ Rehema Ellis that it’s all about helping students “connect to something bigger than just their neighborhood.”
