Midjourney 5.1 is the latest version of Midjourney. It is more opinionated (like version 4) and is much easier to use with short prompts. It has an unopinionated mode (similar to version 5.0 default) called RAW Mode. It has higher coherence, more accuracy to text prompts, fewer unwanted borders or text artifacts, and improved sharpness compared to version 5.0. It has AI moderation for version 5 and newer models, which limits the number of rejections per day but allows successful appeals. To enable Midjourney 5.1, you can go to /settings and click “V5.1” (on the second row) or type –v 5.1 after your prompt. To activate RAW Mode, you can click the RAW Mode button under /settings (after clicking V5.1) or type –style raw.
