Shares of Microsoft were higher Tuesday on its partnership with Workday . Microsoft is joining forces to integrate Office 365 with the Workday’s cloud software. While the two companies have worked with each other previously, Microsoft said the latest move “streamlines” their relationship. Workday’s HR management software will be connected to Office 365 “Groups” service, meaning when a new employee is added to the HR software, accounts will be created for Office 365 applications. The updates will roll out in the beginning of the fiscal 2017 second quarter.
