Alcoa kicks of first quarter earning after the closing bell with investors to focus on forecasts rather than results, which were dented by harsh winter weather. Forecasts by banks such as Wells Fargo and JP Morgan will be scrutinized for a read on the economic outlook. Meanwhile, the Bank of Japan did not add to its stimulus program overnight.
