The S&P 500 and Dow Jones close at record highs after Fed Vice chair Janet Yellen says the economy needs ongoing stimulus support. Derek Orth, chieft technical analyst at Brendan E Cryan, thinks that most of the stocks movement today was due to the vice chair’s comments. Shares of Cisco dived after profit and sales forecasts missed estimates. HP fell after the company halted production of its Chromebook 11, while Kohl’s fell on weak profit and outlook.
