U.S. markets ended slightly lower on Tuesday as investors await data on economic growth and jobs later this week. The Dow and S&P 500 closed lower, while the NASDAQ finished slightly higher. Tenet Healthcare was the biggest loser; shares slid nearly 10% after missing expectations. GT Advanced jumped almost 20% on news that they will create parts for Apple. Also, Michael Kors shares moved higher after it raised earnings guidance. TheStreet’s Jane Searle reports from the New York Stock Exchange.
