Shares of Lowe’s Cos. were dropping during the trading session Wednesday after its latest quarterly results missed Wall Street’s expectations. Earnings of $1.37 per share were well below analysts’ estimates of $1.42 per share. Sales of $18.3 billion for the period also missed forecasts of $18.4 billion. Same-store sales rose 2%, but fell short of estimates for a 4.1% increase. The home improvement retailer cut its full-year outlook to $4.06 per share from $4.11 per share.
