Swiss consumer electronics company Logitech International could be taking a look at buying competitors including Zagg and Monster Cable Products, though the former is probably a more likely candidate. Generally speaking, the computer-related peripheral space could be poised for consolidation, with other players including Belkin International likely to be targeting acquisitions. Monster Cable previously explored a sale in 2007 and 2008, but then the financial crisis hit.
