Residents across several New England states Saturday afternoon reported hearing a loud boom, which NASA later said could be explained by a fireball breaking up over Massachusetts. NBC10 Boston meteorologist Pamela Gardner shared that the sound was likely a meteorite entering and blowing up in our atmosphere.
