The new Lattice Global Small Cap Strategy ETF (ROGS) offers investors global exposure to small cap stocks not found in many funds, said Ted Lucas, Managing Partner at Lattice Strategies. Lucas added that U.S. small caps only represent about a third of the overall small cap community so individual investors should seek global diversification. He said U.S. small caps currently trade at rich valuations and investors have to endure significantly higher volatility and drawdown risk versus the large cap portion of the portfolio. By diversifying across geographies, ROGS seeks to take advantage of lower correlations and improved valuations.
