The 80’s are making a comeback – courtesy of Kodak!
The company just launched a line of retro-inspired digital toy cameras called the Kodak Charmera. They shoot both photos and video, come with vintage filters, custom Kodak frames, and even a date stamp for that throwback look.
There are seven styles, sold in blind boxes – so you don’t know which one you’ll get until you open it. A single camera goes for $29.99, or you can snag the full set for $179.94.
But good luck collecting them – the full set is already sold out on Kodak’s website, and most retailers are only taking pre-orders.
It’s a fun blast from the past, but Kodak is facing serious challenges. In its latest earnings report, the company warned there’s “substantial doubt” about its ability to continue operations.
So Kodak may be leaning on nostalgia – but its future is still in doubt.
