Kentucky lawmakers passed a bill that bans gender-affirming care for transgender youth in the state, overriding a veto from Democratic Governor Andy Beshear. Prior to the vote, at least 19 people were arrested after dozens of protesters entered the House Chamber to oppose the bill.
