Cramer says his father, who was still doing work at age 92, always told him to be honest in business, and taught him the value of hard work and the need to stay busy and involved. Cramer says he knows retail today because he has seen the underside, having watched his father run his businesses. As someone who understood the value of inventory and being nice as a salesperson, Cramer says in his own way, his father understood business better than anyone else in the world. Cramer also reminisces about he and his father’s mutual love for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the importance of the team to their relationship.
