Jakks Pacific, the Malibu, Calif.-based toymaker, is seeking to acquire other toy companies with up to $100 million in sales, said its CFO Joel Bennett. Jakks, which makes toys under the Power Rangers brand, is most interested in targeting the infant and pre-school toy categories, as they are less technology reliant than toys aimed at older children. But due to toy companies available for sale, it is more likely that Jakks will acquire a business with $25 million to $50 million in revenue.
