Cognizant’s (CTSH) revenue surged more than 20 percent in the latest quarter and the company increased guidance for the year. Cognizant President Gordon Coburn says the company saw healthy demand from clients across all industries and geographies. He adds that we are in the early stages of companies investing in digital technologies, and Cognizant is capitalizing on that. Cognizant says last year’s acquisitions in healthcare has helped bolster the company’s leadership position in that space. Coburn said one challenge for the company this year is finding enough qualified people to fill open positions.
