Thousands of women draped in red flocked to Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Wednesday as Iran loosens a ban that prohibited women from attended men’s soccer matches. The ban was introduced shortly after the 1979 Islamic revolution with only a few exceptions made on rare occasions for small groups.
