Yahoo reported mixed Q4 results Tuesday but the big news was the announcement that it will spin off its sizable stake in Alibaba – China’s leading e-commerce site. TheStreet’s Jim Cramer says Marissa Mayer has taken a lot of heat but if you look at all the other stocks in the segment, she’s the best performer. Naysayers will point to the fact that she did it with the stewardship of Alibaba but Cramer says, so what. A win is a win and even an ugly win is better than a loss, Cramer says. He says Mayer has delivered and now looking forward to 2016/17 he’s looking for earnings per share to go up above $1 after Alibaba is gone to propel the stock. Can Mayer deliver? Cramer sees no reason to write her off.
