Opening arguments begin in the trial of Bill Hwang, founder of Archegos Capital Management. Assistant US Attorney Alexandra Rothman said “over and over, the defendants and others lied to the banks.” Hwang faces charges of fraud and racketeering conspiracy that could end with him behind bars for the rest of his life.
