Police and protesters clashed at UCLA as police moved onto the campus to take down an encampment set up by pro-Palestinian protesters. Hundreds were arrested. The clashes came as dozens of colleges struggle with how to deal with the continuing protests. Also, President Biden commented on the campus unrest, saying that while he supports peaceful protests, violence and hate speech are unacceptable.
