UFC 217 is fast approaching, and the card is stacked. Many fans will tune in to see the long awaited return of George St. Pierre as he takes on Michael Bisping for the middle weight title.
This will be the UFC’s second ever card in Madison Square Garden, and if it’s anything like last years event, fans will be in for a treat.
Last year’s fight, which marked the first since the state of New York lifted its ban on MMA fighting, saw Conor McGregor become the first two-time UFC champion. And McGregor wasn’t the only one who went home happy.
The event brought in massive profit with Madison Square Garden setting a live gate record of $17.7 million.
