TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer is keeping a close eye on the Federal Reserve next week. ‘The Federal Reserve is going to tighten, so if you have strong data, we can handle it,’ Cramer said, referring to next Friday’s May jobs report. This will be the last jobs report before the Federal Reserve’s June meeting, when many market participants expect a rate hike. Cramer also mentioned Bob Toll’s remarks on the Toll Brothers conference call, saying that it’s time for the central bank to hike rates.
