TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer said an Apple acquisition of Tidal music streaming service is ‘ill advised.’ ‘I have been positive on Apple and I wish Apple would not think so small,’ Cramer said. ‘This is an ill-advised, waste of time for them even if they do the deal.’ Cramer said he’d like to see Apple focus more on its services division. He said Tidal may not have what it takes to be able to get bigger compared to a Spotify or a Netflix . Apple is a holding of Cramer’s charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS.
