TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer expects a subpar earnings season. ‘I don’t think it’s going to be that great of an earnings period,’ Cramer said. ‘Once we get into earnings and we see number cuts, I think that we might lose some of the bloom here.’ Cramer said the big international names may not do well. ‘I also want to take my queue from the M&A world – we need to see deals and continual self-help by companies in order to be able to make up for what I think will be a subpar earnings season.’
