Bank of America is one of the nation’s largest banks and has deep roots in American history. The bank provided financing for the Golden Gate Bridge in California. During the 2008 financial crisis, it acquired Merrill Lynch. The bank is a holding of Jim Cramer’s charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS.
