Cognizant announced Q4 earnings were strong as revenue rose 16.4% from the year ago quarter to $2.74 billion. The company closed FY14 at $10.26 billion, up 16.1% over 2013. In addition, Cognizant provided guidance for FY15 projecting a strong year of growth due to a positive demand environment, with revenue expected to be at least $12.21 billion, up about 19% over 2014. Gordon Coburn, President of Cognizant, tells TheStreet’s Jill Malandrino strong growth came from the financial and healthcare services verticals in North America. Coburn believes the company is in a unique position due to the opportunities of digital transformations across all industry segments that need to be addressed.
