Google just came out with a new AI system meant to act as a virtual collaborator for biomedical scientists. Annalisa Pawlosky, founder and principal investigator for the Google Accelerated Science biochemistry and molecular biology laboratory, joins Bloomberg Technology’s Caroline Hyde to discuss how the tool uses advanced reasoning to help scientists synthesize vast amounts of literature, generate novel hypotheses, and suggest detailed research plans for validation of their hypotheses.
