GoDaddy banned the Daily Stormer after posting a vulgar article about Charlottesville victim Heather Heyer. While GoDaddy only provides the domain name and doesn’t actually host the site the company said Daily Stormer is officially banned from using their services. The same day, a post on Daily Stormer indicated the hacking group Anonymous breached the Nazi site and threatened to shut it down within 24 hours. However, a tweet from the account @YourAnonNews suggests the post might actually be part of a hoax. It is unclear which other service providers would be willing to take on the Daily Stormer after GoDaddy.
