German Parliament is set to vote for the outlines of a Greek bailout deal that were negotiated last weekend, but International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde says the international lender will only take part in future bailouts if there’s an agreement on debt relief. In the UK a regulator is proposing a thorough review of the former state postal services monopoly Royal Mail plc, how it competes on the market and how it fulfils its duty to deliver mail to remote regions now that it is no longer government owned. Royal Mail’s share slides on the news. Online betting company Bwin.party Digital Entertainment agrees a $1.4 billion cash and shares takeover by rival 888 Holdings. The deal gives bwin.party’s current shareholders almost half the combined company.
