General Motors has issued a new recall for 1.5 million vehicles, most of which are SUVs with problematic airbags. This comes after GM recalled 1.6 million vehicles last month in the U.S. and other markets. That recall was issued after the automaker discovered faulty ignition switches that the company acknowledges is linked to 12 deaths. According to CEO Mary Barra, the latest recall is part of the GM’s effort to address safety defects quicker and more efficiently than ever.
