General Electric shares are moving higher even after a mixed first quarter. The company said industrial profits soared 12% over the quarter as energy and manufacturing sales offset weakness in healthcare and transportation segments. Even as industrial revenues rose, overall revenue decreased 2% year over year to $34.2 billion, missing Wall Street estimates by $182 million. Adjusted earnings of 33 cents a share did manage to beat analysts’ forecasts by a penny.
