Las Vegas this week is home to the Consumer Electronics Show, where there is every gadget imaginable for the geek in all of us. Among the gadgets showcased: drones, virtual reality products, new computers, and even a Keurig that makes cocktails. General Electric (GE) showed off new lightbulbs, Hewlett Packard(HP) showcased its latest computers, and Blackberry (BBRY) displayed its new smartphone. Lesser known, smaller companies try to make waves with products they hope will inspire or entertain consumers. TheStreet embraced its inner geek at an indoor beach party on the Las Vegas Strip, and found gadgets that were useful, innovative and just plain weird.
