We got to sit down with Joe Hinrich, president of global operations at Ford F , at the North America International Auto Show in Detroit.
With the stock already up 4.6% year-to-date, Ford has been the star of the show this year with the introduction of the 2019 Bullit Mustang, the F-150 pickup winning Motor Trend truck of the year and the new Lincoln Navigator winning the North American Truck of the Year.
This is actually the first time a Lincoln vehicle has won the North American Car, Truck or Utility of the Year honors, which is awarded by a panel of U.S. and Canadian journalists.
