A top executive at Ford was arrested after viciously attacking his wife and threatening to torch her two $10,000 Hermes bags, Michigan police said.
Franck Louis-Victor, 50 — who was hired last year by Ford CEO Jim Farley to head the Ford Next autonomous vehicle division — allegedly slapped, headbutted and hit his wife in the face with a Google Nest Hub device, cops told The Detroit News.
Law enforcement officials said they were called to Louis-Victor’s home in Dearborn over the weekend after a report of a domestic disturbance.
Louis-Victor told the cops he and his wife were in the midst of an argument when he threatened to light her two Hermes luxury bags with a butane torch, according to the police report.
After Louis-Victor’s wife took the bags from him, he then threatened to cause her harm, it was alleged.
Their feud violently escalated with his wife suffering a cut just under her left eye, according to police.
She was treated at a hospital for her injuries.
Louis-Victor was charged Monday with felonious assault and arson-preparation to burn, according to the Detroit News.
Bond was set at $25,000 bond.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 18. As of Tuesday morning, he was not freed on bond.
If convicted, Louis-Victor faces up to four years in prison for the assault charge and up to five years behind bars for the arson charge.
Louis-Victor wasn’t immediately available for comment.
The Post has sought comment from Ford.
“We are aware of what has been reported in the press, but it would be inappropriate to comment on personal matters,” a Ford spokesperson told the Detroit News.
