A fire at one of Gap’s distribution center in Fishkill, N.Y., was causing the stock to drop on Wednesday. Gap spokeswoman Debbie Felix said all of the employees at the site are safe and no one was injured in the fire. But the Fishkill site is the primary distribution center for the Northeast. Analysts with Wells Fargo think the fire may create a “meaningful bottleneck” for the company, and with the holiday season just a few months away, it could disrupt Gap’s critical selling season, Bloomberg reported.
