Chrylser Group’s Head of Quality Doug Betts says his top priority for 2014 will be working on globalization of the automaker now that it will officially be part of Fiat. Betts says that although Fiat and Chrysler will not become one legal entity for a few more days, both automakers have already been working together for years, yet there may still be some more opportunities to improve quality. Betts says one of the biggest obstacles in measuring quality is that people have different expectations of what quality means around the world. TheStreet’s Ruben Ramirez spoke with Betts at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
