The family of a California woman who was fatally shot by a school safety officer in 2021 reached a $13 million settlement with the Long Beach Unified School District in connection to her death. Manuela “Mona” Rodriguez was 18 years old when Officer Eddie F. Gonzalez fired at a car she was riding in. KNBC’s Tracey Leong reports.
