Facebook (FB) shares are rallying after the social network said it’s profits were higher, led by mobile ad revenue. Now, the company gets 80% of its ad revenue from mobile devices. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg surpassed Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison to become the 6th richest person in the world in after hours trading. Zuckerberg’s net worth increased by nearly $5 billion to $46.25 billion. Stocks sold off Wednesday after the Federal Reserve didn’t rule out an interest rate hike in March. The Shanghai Composite, however, continues to fall. It lost almost 3% overnight. Donald Trump says he is standing by his decision to boycott the GOP debate tonight. He is protesting what he calls unfair treatment at the Fox News Channel, which is hosting the debate. Trump is instead hosting a fundraiser for veterans in Iowa. Weekly jobless claims are reported today. December Durable Goods are also out. And the U.S. Energy Information Administration issues its oil inventory report.
