The new L.A. district attorney, Nathan Hochman, vowed to operate from what he called “the hard middle,” including his review of the murder case that has kept the Menendez brothers in prison for decades for killing their parents. Hochman is expected to decide within weeks whether to endorse resentencing of the brothers. NBC News’ Lester Holt reports.
