European markets were largely down Tuesday morning after yesterday’s big gains. Traders focused on individual stocks while waiting for direction from Wall Street and this morning’s U.S. consumer confidence survey. German healthcare group Fresenius was hit by Medicare dialysis reimbursement tariffs in the U.S., while asset managers and defense contractors weighed on the London market.
