One company will focus on what they call ‘upstream’, which will focus on Bauxite and mining. The other is ‘value add’ and will focus on products. Alcoa expects the split to be complete by the second half of next year. Anheuser Busch (BUD) Inbev could bid $106 billion for SABMiller. An opening offer could be made this week.
