MasterCard shares may be fairly priced, but the company continues to capitalize on the secular trend toward a cashless society, said Dan Skelly, head of the equity model-portfolio team at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Skelly added that MasterCard delivers consistent earnings growth and will also benefit from China opening up its system to foreign payment players. He is also bullish on Thermo Fisher, saying the company is enjoying the rise in academic spending and will also benefit from increased stimulus in China for healthcare programs. Finally, Skelly is positive on Delphi because it is seeing increased demand from automakers for ‘infotainment’ and electronic systems parts.
