Top automakers looked to wow the audience at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but Dish’s Sling stole the show to start the week. It isn’t meant to replace your cable service entirely, but viewers will be able to access ESPN from mobile devices, and all for $20 a month. Today’s Chart of the Day hasn’t tacked on the kind of gains DirecTV has (as it readies to sell to AT&T), but posting gains of nearly 22 percent over the last 12 months should attract investors’ attention — as well as potential buyers in a rapidly consolidating cable space. 2015 could be a big year for Dish.
