1.) Use an app like Gyft to recover the value from a lost card digitally and keep track of any plastic gift cards you still need to use.
2.) To find discounts, use a gift card exchange like Raise or Card Cash. You can save up to 35% depending on the retailer.
3.) Warehouse stores like Costco or Sam’s Club offer a wide selection of discounted gift cards when you buy in bulk.
4.) Check credit card rewards programs for gift card options
5.) When in doubt buy a gift card to one of the most requested retailers: Walmart, Target or Amazon.
