Apple has found a defect with the Apple Watch. The Wall Street Journal said a Chinese made component of the watch was found to break down causing the company to limit the availability of the watch. The part involved is the so-called taptic engine, a key feature of the watch, which replaces buzzing or ringing with tapping. The Journal says Apple scrapped some completed watches as a result. Yelp posted a quarterly loss and issued a disappointing outlook. Shares fell as much as 16% after hours. Yelp blames the loss on sluggish advertising revenue. Time Warner Cable also missed earnings expectations.
