Peta Murgatroyd has welcomed her second child with husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who shared the happy news on Instagram on Sunday just in time for Father’s Day.
The Dancing With The Stars pro, 36, who announced she was expecting baby number two earlier this year in January, could be seen laying in a hospital bed in a clip uploaded by her husband shortly before welcoming their little one to the world.
The two lovebirds, who tied the knot back in 2017, already share six-year-old son, Shai.
Before conceiving their second baby, the professional dancer notably suffered a total of three miscarriages throughout 2020 and 2021 before revealing her second pregnancy earlier this year.
The choreographer, 43, uploaded an adorable photo as he lovingly held his newborn son in his arms. ‘Happy Father’s Day to me!’ he penned in the caption, followed by the hashtag, ‘#MadeInPeta.’

Maksim shared a video onto his Instagram stories before the couple became parents of two, which began with the dancer greeting his fans and followers while sitting on a chair inside a spacious hospital room.
He panned the phone camera over to his wife, Peta, who was laying in a bed. ‘How are you feeling?’ he asked, prompting her to throw her arms into the air and humorously flashed peace signs towards her husband.
‘We’re having a baby,’ she stated, while moving her arms back and forth in a slight, dancing motion. Peta then added that it had been a ‘rough night.’
The now mother of two addressed social media users in the clip, and revealed, ‘Guys, all of you were right. Started as little baby things, and then boom. I couldn’t talk, could barely walk. And we went through every red light to get here on time.’
The reel concluded with Maksim stated, ‘We’re here,’ and then excitedly added, ‘Let’s get that baby!’
Shortly before the video was uploaded, he also shared a sweet photo as he held hands with his wife inside of the hospital. ‘It’s go time!’ he wrote in the caption.
The star then revealed that he rushed to get to Los Angeles to take his wife to the hospital. ‘Made it to LA from Napa in record time! Curtesy of (about to be thrice) grandpa Sasha ;).’
