Shares of the medical device maker Danaher were higher Monday after reporting results which topped profit forecasts. Danaher reported second-quarter earnings of $1.25 a share, topping analyst expectations by $0.16. For the current quarter, the company expects earnings to be between $0.80 and $0.84 a share, while full year earnings are expected to be between $3.53 and $3.60 a share. The lowered guidance reflects some accounting adjustments. Danaher’s shares are down 13% since the beginning of the year.
