ALL RIGHT RANDI. THANK YOU. AND OF COURSE WE ARE GETTING OUR FIRST LOOK THIS MORNING AT SOME OF THE DAMAGE FROM THAT SEVERE WEATHER OVERNIGHT. A LOT OF WORK THIS MORNING FOR THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CREWS. THEY’LL HAVE TO DETERMINE EXACTLY HOW MANY TORNADOES HIT OUR REGION LAST NIGHT. AND WE’RE LEADING THE WAY WITH LIVE TEAM COVERAGE IN WARREN AND BUTLER COUNTY, WHERE WE HAVE SEEN THE WORST OF THE DAMAGE SO FAR, PLUS THE ONGOING FLOODING CONCERNS. THIS MORNING. YEAH. SO WE’RE GOING TO BEGIN WITH OUR CO-ANCHOR, STEVEN ALBRITTON. HE IS LIVE FOR US IN WARREN COUNTY THIS MORNING WHERE WE SAW RADAR CONFIRMED TORNADOES MOVE THROUGH THAT AREA. STEPHEN, WHAT ARE YOU SEEING THERE NOW? WELL, RIGHT NOW, MASON MORROW MILL GROVE ROAD, JUST NORTH OF MORROW IS STILL CLOSED AT THIS TIME BECAUSE OF WHAT’S BEHIND US. A POWER POLE SNAPPED IN HALF. YOU GOT THE POWER LINES DOWN ABOUT 200 CUSTOMERS WITHOUT POWER IN THIS AREA. AS WE WAIT FOR DUKE ENERGY TO GET OUT HERE AND GET THINGS CLEANED UP, WE HAD THE CHAINSAWS OUT HERE FROM THE TREE CREWS GETTING THINGS CLEANED UP SO YOU COULD GET IN, BUT NOW THAT THE SUN START TO COME UP, I’M STILL GOING TO USE THIS FLASHLIGHT. BUT YOU CAN JUST JUST SEE HOW POWERFUL THESE RADAR CONFIRMED TORNADOES WERE. AND YOU CAN SEE TREES SNAPPED IN HALF HALFWAY UP IT. THIS HOME IS NOBODY LIVES HERE, THANKFULLY, BUT YOU CAN SEE A MASSIVE TREE, A LOT OF DEBRIS ALL THE WAY AROUND IT, AND DESTRUCTION JUST CONTINUES ON OUT THERE WITH, UH, BRANCHES SNAPPED HIGH UP AND THROWN TO THE GROUND. REALLY LIKE TOOTHPICKS. AGAIN. THIS HOME, OFF TO OUR LEFT, WE’VE SEEN PEOPLE PUTTING TARPS DOWN. WE’VE SEEN THEM PUTTING BOARDS UP BECAUSE THEY’VE HAD SOME DAMAGE, HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO SPEAK WITH THEM BECAUSE WE’RE ON THIS SIDE OF WHERE THINGS HAVE SNAPPED OVER. BUT AGAIN, THIS ISN’T THE ONLY PLACE WE SAW SOME MORE DAMAGE ALONG THE PATH OF THE STORM CLOSER TO CLARKSVILLE. THIS VIDEO COMES FROM GUM GROVE ROAD NEAR US 22. WE SAW A BARN THAT LOOKED TO BE COLLAPSED. FIREFIGHTERS WERE ON SCENE CHECKING IT OUT. NOW WE WERE ABLE TO KEEP OUR DISTANCE TO LET THE FIREFIGHTERS DO THE WORK THEY NEED TO DO TO GET THINGS FIXED. YOU HEAR THOSE CHAINSAWS? YOU SEE THOSE CHAINSAWS GOING? IT’S A SIMILA

The tree removal crew has left here on Mason-Morrow-Millgrove near Morrow. A home is currently being boarded up off to the right. About 200 folks are without power as they wait for energy crews to come replace this pole and get energy restored. @WLWT pic.twitter.com/WAFNBv3Fax

As the sun comes up here north of Morrow, you can see the roof of this home is blown off. Mason-Morrow-Mill Grove Road is still closed as they wait for Duke crews to get the power restored. More coming up at 6:30 on @WLWT pic.twitter.com/CSlk14NIwJ
