Ford is using technology from Microsoft for its in-dash Sync system, while Tesla and General Motors are bringing even larger touchscreens to the center consoles of their cars to increase driver connectivity. Automakers are also finding new ways to make cars more efficient by reducing weight and adding more air intakes to keep engines cool. But what’s next on the high-tech highway?
