Earnings from big consumer names have given stock investors jitters this morning. Amazon warned that its revenue growth was slowing even though sales beat expectations. Colgate-Palmolive reported that its profits fell and revenue was flat. Even Visa warned that sanctions against Russia was going to hurt. Microsoft’s profits took a hit on slowing PC sales and Broadcom reported lower profits. Ford said that the bad weather hurt its sales by three percent.
