Hulu is adding to its lineup. It is set to launch a “skinny bundle” to compete with cable this Spring for about $40 per month.
Netflix is now in 54% of American homes. That is currently wider adoption than the DVR. In 2011 Netflix was only in 28% of homes.
Amazon Prime Video is included in Amazon’s popular Prime plan. The company is reportedly working on plans to charge more for its original high-end dramas and movies.
YouTube TV will include all of your broadcast and local news stations. It also comes with a virtual DVR with unlimited storage.
SlingTV’s service has a virtual DVR with 100 hours included. SlingTV also includes some broadcast channels.
AT&T’s DirecTV Now offers more than 100 channels, but costs $60 a month.The service faced a flood of complaints after service interruptions shortly after launch.
